Five years ago, Marissa and Rodney met at a St. Patrick’s Day celebration. What started as a chance meeting became a relationship built on patience, friendship, and choosing each other through every season of life.
For Marissa, there was never one dramatic moment that made her realize Rodney was the one.

The couple enjoyed dinner with their best friends before taking a stroll along the riverwalk. As their friends offered to snap a photo together, Rodney turned what seemed like an ordinary picture into the moment Marissa would never forget. Right there along the water, he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him.
Of course, she said yes.
