Fate had different plans when they crossed paths in person at Gino & Marty’s in the West Loop on October 14th, 2022. Anthony’s charming introduction, kickstarted a journey that led to their first date on December 28th, 2022, at Gibson’s Italia. Little did they know, that date would mark the beginning of forever.
A Proposal to Remember
Anthony orchestrated a proposal that caught Gianna completely off guard. It was October 14th, 2023, a seemingly ordinary day with plans for an early dinner. Little did Gianna know, it would be a day etched in their memories forever. Amidst the beautifully decorated corner of Gibson’s Italia, adorned with rose petals, Anthony poured his heart out and asked Gianna to marry him. Tears of joy, surprise, and love flowed as she said yes, surrounded by their loved ones. It was a moment of pure magic, reminding Gianna of the day they first met, making it even more special.
A Dress Fit for a Princess
Gianna’s vision of a winter wedding came to life, and so did her dream of wearing a Monique Lhuillier gown. Determined to make her dream a reality, she found her perfect dress during a trunk show at Ultimate Bride in Chicago. The moment she tried on her dress, she knew it was the one. With a jacket for a touch of elegance and sleeves she had always envisioned, the gown transformed effortlessly for dancing later on. Accompanied by her mother, mother-in-law, and sister, Gianna felt like royalty, especially when her friend’s daughter exclaimed she looked like a princess.
A Winter Wonderland Wedding
From their engagement in October to their wedding day in February, Gianna and Anthony’s love story blossomed into a winter wonderland wedding. Set against the backdrop of Chicago’s skyline, The Langham proved to be the perfect venue, capturing the essence of their vision. Gianna’s meticulous planning and eye for detail ensured that every aspect of the day exuded romance and elegance. Moody yet romantic, the ambiance enveloped guests in an atmosphere of love and celebration.
