“Our first date! It’s pretty cliche, but it’s true- when you know, you know. We worked together when we were 19 and 20 and we always had a little crush on each other. Then 3 years later we went to an ice cream shop and walked around in Downtown Naperville to catch up and for me, I just knew I wanted to be with him. I’m very shy and closed off due to my anxiety disorder but with him on our first date, it was endless conversations and laughter. It all just felt natural. He always tells me whenever he would see my posts on social media before we were dating, he’d ask himself “what if” or “I wonder what it would be like to be with her, she seems so fun” which I think is adorable and so sweet. “
