We were feeling the love that was infused with tropical vibes when Carlos married Tiffany at the Silver Lake Country Club. Their wedding was originally planned to be in the groom’s homeland of beautiful Puerto Rico, but like many, their plans had to be altered due to the pandemic. Instead, their wedding planner brought the island theme to Orland Park with pastel florals and boho decor to set the stage for their emotional wedding.
Let’s Hear it For the Dress
Tiffany’s wedding dress was a Kitty Chen designer gown. The dress was customized with beautiful embellishments and amazing sleeves. This one-of-a-kind dress was stunning and fit her like a glove. The couple chose to not do a first look on their wedding day. The bride really wanted that special moment of seeing each other for the first time as she walked down the aisle. As Tiffany entered the room and made her way towards her groom, everyone could see his genuine reaction. Carlos could not hold back his joy as he watched Tiffany make her way down the aisle in her beautiful gown!
Missing Someone Special
Right before the wedding day, Tiffany lost one of her bridesmaids unexpectedly. This was devastating to the beautiful bride and her bridal party as they were all very close. On the day of the wedding, Tiffany and her bridesmaids found ways to remember their sweet friend! They wanted to make sure she was still there in spirit. Her matching bridesmaid rope was hung behind the girls as the got ready for the day and her dress was present on a chair at the ceremony. At the reception, Tiffany ensured that she was there with them for the celebration by saving her a seat at the head table among all their friends. Tears may have been shed as we witnessed these touching gestures! It truly was an emotional wedding.
Rain Rain Go Away
Fatiana from Chic Events and Weddings always styles her events to perfection and makes sure everything goes smoothly. Tiffany said hiring a great wedding planner is worth the investment! Since they had to move their ceremony indoors due to rain, she was glad to have a planner on site. Fortunately, the rain eventually stopped, and we were able to move the bridal party and family outdoors for photos. We captured gorgeous photos and as they say, rain on your wedding day is good luck for a beautiful marriage!
