Tyler set the bar high for romance, proposing to Maddie in none other than the breathtaking landscapes of Ireland. With the rolling green hills of the Ring of Kerry as their backdrop, he led her to his favorite spot and popped the question. Maddie, utterly surprised and completely overjoyed, said yes to forever. It was a proposal that perfectly mirrored their love—adventurous, deeply meaningful, and effortlessly beautiful.
The Dress: Love at First Sight
Maddie’s bridal journey began with a single dress—one that, from the moment she tried it on, set the standard for all others. “We didn’t get it right away, but after I tried that dress on, every other dress was compared. We knew we had to go back and get her.” A decision made from the heart, just like every other part of their love story.
A Wedding Drenched in Color & Elegance
When it came to wedding design, Maddie had one vision: maximalism. “I wanted color on color on color.” The inspiration? The intricate blue and white patterns of the china from her registry, woven into the vibrant, artful design of the day. The result was a wedding that felt like a living masterpiece—lush florals, bold hues, and a touch of European charm enveloping the grand Elkins Estate.
The day itself? “Wonderful. It was an absolutely perfect day for Tyler and me. We couldn’t recreate it better if we tried.”

Opting for a first look, Maddie and Tyler embraced a moment of intimacy before the ceremony. “I am SO glad we did,” Maddie said. “We got all of the photos done before the ceremony and cocktail hour so we could relax and enjoy the evening.” Tyler’s reaction? Adorable. The emotion between them was palpable, captured in stunning imagery that reflected their love’s depth and joy.
And when it came to photography, Maddie had nothing but praise. “Lauren made the photo process so quick, efficient, and stress-free.”

The Most Anxious Moment: A Bold First Dance
For all its perfection, there was one element that had Maddie feeling a little nervous—her quick outfit change in the middle of their first dance. “I decided to change dresses in the middle of my first dance lol. It worked out, but it was definitely the most stressful part.” A daring move, flawlessly executed, and one that added an unforgettable touch of drama to their celebration.

One of the best decisions the couple made? Hiring a nurse to assist their elderly grandparents throughout the day. “We hired a nurse so my mom wouldn’t need to worry about them and could be present with us. It was the best money we spent.” A heartfelt reminder that weddings aren’t just about the couple—but about the people who’ve shaped their journey.
