We recently had the pleasure of capturing the Chicago wedding of Tiffany and Adrian, a super glamorous celebration surrounded by family and friends.
It’s not always easy to pull off a chic, and glam wedding. Go a little too far in one direction, and you end up with a celebration looking rather unlike your initial plans. Fortunately, this can’t be said about the Chicago wedding of Tiffany and Adrian, a fun pair who tied the knot back in March 2022. Together, they created a sumptuous ceremony and reception their loved ones have not been able to stop talking about for all the right reasons!
Today we’re going to share their wedding photography, a few surprises, and the love story behind this sweet Chicago couple.
A Casual, Chance Meeting
Tiffany and Adrian attended the same high school but were not high school sweethearts. In fact, they didn’t know each other all through their time at school. It wasn’t until after college, in 2015, when these two finally met. It was a casual meeting while hanging out with mutual friends in a bar. That serendipitous encounter stirred something in them, and started what was to become a 6 and a half year relationship.
‘Sweet’ Proposal
It was pumpkin season, and Tiffany and Adrian were out picking at Richardson Adventure Farm, and taking cute Fall pictures of each other. On the farm there was a sweet pumpkin house. Eager to see what the inside of it looked like, the pair entered, cameras in-hand. Straight away, Tiffany noticed one white pumpkin, standing out from the rest. She walked over to it, turned it around, and was shocked to see the words ‘will you marry me?’, written on the side. Tiffany’s friends and family had been hiding on the farm the whole time, helping Adrian plan his proposal. As soon as she said yes, they all rushed in and congratulated the couple. A very sweet surprise!
An Extravagant Ceremony
Back dropped by a stunning floral wall, and surrounded by loved ones, Tiffany and Adrian said ‘I do’ in the most dramatic of setting. The decor was immaculate, with a color palette that oozed sophistication. Dusty pinks, cream and lilac all looked wonderful together, and highlighted their special moment perfectly. Our bride had feared that the decor wouldn’t be quite right on the day, but we can assure you Tiffany, it was perfect!
Portraits with Loved Ones
Following the ceremony, we took the newlyweds and their wedding party away for their portraits. The couples’ venue offered so many grand backdrops for us to shoot against, and its color scheme matched the theme of the day immaculately. The couple along with their wedding party made taking pictures particularly fun! (Especially when asked to reveal their matching socks!) We also created some stunning portraits of the happy couple while cozying up together and looking adoringly into each other’s eyes. Tiffany’s Galia Lahav wedding dress also made for some real ‘wow’ moments!
A Stunning Wedding Celebration
The newlyweds had put together a sumptuously elegant reception for their guests. Towering floral centerpieces brought the drama to each tablescape, while low, dainty candle arrangements set the elegant tone. The setting was awash with their sophisticated color palette, but now with softly sparkling golds and metallics. It was the most amazing sight to see the room put together.
Some Special Guests
Tiffany and Adrian couldn’t have asked for more fun, and love, at their wedding reception. All of their guests were a part of the celebration, and really helped to make their nuptials even more special. They were happy to hit the dance floor, but not before the special guests had made their mark. That evening, we were treated to performances by two talented drag queens, who certainly caused a stir with their dazzling show! A uniquely wonderful moment we know our happy couple won’t forget in a hurry.
